Original linocut print of the Golden Gate Bridge as seen from Fort Point. This print was made using the reduction linocut printing method, which is a multicolor printing process involving many steps. What makes this edition unique is that once it's complete you can't make more from the same block, because at the end the whole block is carved away.
This was printed with a total of 6 color layers on Rives BFK Cotton rag paper with Oil based inks, giving the prints a rich color appearance.
There are a total of 6 linocut prints in this edition. The print paper size measure 11x15" and the image size is about 9x12". Because of the unique nature of linocut printing there are variations between the prints, so you may not get exactly what's shown in the image, but pretty close. These prints always look better in person.
Print does not include a frame. It is packaged with a cellophane sleeve and archival mat backing.
