"Yin and Yang Koi Fish" is an original reduction linocut, printed with 5 color layers. Reduction printing is a process where the block is cut in stages and printed. After each carving the raised portion gets printed with a new color. At the end of the process the block is completely carved away, making this a small limited edition.
Print measures 11 1/2 x 14" and is printed on a sheet of 15x19" Reeves 100% cotton rag paper. Inks are rich oil based. Each print varies slightly in tone and color since each one hand printed separately. Print comes rolled in a tube for shipping.
